Materiais do Dia Mundial da Fisioterapia disponíveis em 38 idiomas

Os materiais do Dia Mundial da Fisioterapia deste ano foram traduzidos para 38 idiomas, do árabe ao vietnamita.

As traduções foram gentilmente fornecidas por voluntários de 29 organizações membros da Fisioterapia Mundial e nove indivíduos ou grupos de fisioterapeutas. Todas as traduções de 2023 foram publicadas no site World Physiotherapy e compartilhadas nas redes sociais.

Michel Landry, presidente mundial de fisioterapia, disse: “É ótimo ver tantas de nossas organizações membros e fisioterapeutas individuais se envolvendo no Dia Mundial da Fisioterapia e ajudando a aumentar o perfil da profissão.

Continuing education units You can now earn continuing education units for your attendance at congress. World Physiotherapy has awarded World Physiotherapy International Physiotherapy Continuing Education Units (IP-CEUs) to congress days, for both the in-person and online event, and to pre- and post-congress courses.  The following IP-CEUs have been awarded:  Activity  Number of IP-CEUs  3-day congress attendance Dubai  21  2-day congress attendance Dubai  14  1-day congress attendance Dubai  7  2 day pre- or post-congress course Dubai  16  1 day pre- or post-congress course Dubai  8  Online congress 3 days of live content  18   Details of the IP-CEUs allocated will be included on certificates of attendance.   Individual physiotherapists will need to check the continuing professional development requirements in their own country/territory. They are advised to contact their member organisation, or regulatory body, to see if recognition will be awarded for continuing education resulting from attendance at the World Physiotherapy congress, in either format, and any course.

Each one-hour focused symposium session will include high profile speakers, draw large audiences, and aim to create insightful and engaging learning experiences that ultimately inform, inspire, involve, and empower delegates. Novo local anunciado para o Congresso Mundial de Fisioterapia em 2023

 

February 2022     Novo local anunciado para  o congresso em 2023    O Conselho Mundial de Fisioterapia tomou a difícil decisão de mudar o local do congresso em 2023. O congresso acontecerá agora em Dubai, Emirados Árabes Unidos (EAU), de 2 a 4 de junho de 2023.    A decisão segue uma análise cuidadosa e discussões com a Associação Japonesa de Fisioterapia e as principais partes interessadas no Japão, e a Sociedade de Fisioterapia dos Emirados Árabes Unidos e as principais partes interessadas nos Emirados Árabes Unidos.    O Conselho acredita que a mudança de local oferecerá a melhor oportunidade para realizar um evento presencial em 2023. Dubai permanece aberta a visitantes internacionais desde julho de 2020 e sediou com sucesso eventos internacionais significativos, incluindo a Expo 2020. O Japão permanece fechado para visitantes internacionais e é improvável que qualquer visita ao local seja possível antes de maio de 2022.     A World Physiotherapy está comprometida em realizar um congresso presencial em 2023, após um intervalo de quatro anos desde que a profissão global de fisioterapia conseguiu se reunir em Genebra em 2019

New location announced for congress in 2023 The World Physiotherapy board has taken the difficult decision to change the location for congress in 2023. The congress will now take place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), 2-4 June 2023. The decision follows careful consideration and discussions with the Japanese Physical Therapy Association and key stakeholders in Japan, and the Emirates Physiotherapy Society and key stakeholders in UAE. The board believes the change of location will offer the best opportunity to hold an in-person event in 2023. Dubai has remained open to international visitors since July 2020 and has successfully hosted significant international events, including Expo 2020. Japan remains closed to international visitors and it is unlikely any site visits would be possible before May 2022. World Physiotherapy is committed to delivering an in-person congress in 2023, following a gap of four years since the global physiotherapy profession was able to come together in Geneva in 2019.  Find out more about the new location for World Physiotherapy Congress 2023

World Physiotherapy anuncia comissão organizadora do congresso para 2023

  A World Physiotherapy anunciou os membros do comitê da programação  do congresso (CPC) para o World Physiotherapy Congress 2023 em Tóquio, Japão. O evento será Presidido por Jackie Whittaker, professora assistente no Departamento de Fisioterapia da University of British Columbia e cientista pesquisadora da Arthritis Research Canada em Vancouver; o comitê traz extensa e diversa experiência geográfica, profissional, de pesquisa, clínica e acadêmica para o evento principal da Fisioterapia Mundial . Jackie foi membro do comitê  em congressos mundiais anteriores em 2019 e 2021.

 Jackie Whittaker, presidente do CPC, disse: “Tivemos o maior número de inscrições de todos os tempos para fazer parte do CPC em 2023. Após um processo de seleção robusto, estou satisfeita por termos um grupo tão diversificado de pessoas que trarão seus habilidades individuais, experiência e perspectivas para criar um programa científico que reflita as questões-chave para nossa comunidade global de fisioterapia.”
